At that time, I finally got a new routine. Before this, going to campus was pretty flexible—sometimes I had morning classes, sometimes afternoon, depending on the schedule… and honestly, depending on my mood too lol. But now everything changed. I had to leave at 6 a.m. for my internship and only got home around 3:30 p.m. At first, it was kind of shocking because my daily rhythm changed instantly.
As the days went by, it didn’t actually take long for me to get close to the people there. Coincidentally, they were all girls, so for me it felt easier to start conversations and get along.
Maybe I was also influenced by my boarding house friend. He’s the type of person who can get close to anyone easily—basically has no shame 😁. Whenever there’s a chance, he’ll start talking to the girls at the internship. You could say… yeah, he’s pretty flirty.
One day, my friend decided to mess around. He asked one of my female assistant friends—let’s just call her Ani—to swap ID cards. So he wore Ani’s ID card, and Ani wore his.
At first, I thought they’d keep it for a while, but nope. Not long after, they switched back. Maybe my friend got scared lol. Yeah… scared of his own girlfriend.
Seeing that, I thought it looked fun. Like, it gave me this weird FOMO feeling. So I ended up wanting to try it too. I asked Ani if we could swap ID cards.
I had only been wearing Ani’s ID card for about 10 minutes when suddenly a girl walked toward me from the front. She immediately said,
“Why are you wearing Ani’s ID card?”
I looked at her.
And boom.
It was Cutina.
Right then I thought, “yep, just as I expected.” She’s the type of person who just says whatever comes to her mind. No filter at all, seriously 😆
Since I got caught, I had no choice but to take off Ani’s ID card.
But then, for some reason, I actually offered her to swap ID cards too. Well… to be honest, it was more like I was the one who wanted to 😅
From that moment, I started thinking—this girl is kind of weird.
Like… different.
